I could be up for a little heavy duty XCing this weekend. I'm pissed that it was raining/snowing saturday so I missed riding (again).

grew up in EL, parents still live on Maple st. I'm in Holyoke now, usually ride Shenipsit or Bachelor st and trails around the Notch. There is supposed to be a nice trail in Holyoke near HCC that i'm gonna seek out soon.

Oh nice, I live right off maple st. I've ridden bachelor st once before, it was alot of up then down, but fun downs. I wouldn't want to ride it on the bike I have now tho.

Attitash is opening 6/13.
Highland opens on 5/9 for season pass holders (yay) and 5/15 for everyone else.

I hadn't heard about BWoods though, that sucks, they had a few fun trails.

There's a kid that I used to work with @ the LBS up there and he's been helping cut trails for them the past two years and he said he's 90% sure they are only doing xc this year. It was nice fast not to technical & FREE

Last year they had a LBS appreciation day where you get a discount if you work at a shop. I'm not sure about anything else though.

I think I know that kid, we met at Highland, then we met up when I went to Bwoods and he showed me around, including the "freeride" trail with a bunch of cool little stunts.

I'm not a gal but I'm kicking around in Berlin. Just got my new bike too and I'm ready for some urban freeride. Anyone know if the Red Tail is drying out yet?

Not too sure if redtails drying out but I can tell you as of sat night hurricane mtn road was still gated. If you feel like hiking/riding to the top lemme know! I chewed up enough rear tires riding to the top of that damn road before i had my license. I gotta find eastside seceret up there this year too. I rode it with the michelin rep and a few guys when I first built my AC like 4 years ago but I had no rear brake on it at the time. Pretty gnarly freeride trail.

Josh, im selling a set of Thule Towers for cheap if your interested...or anyone for that matter. You just need to buy a fit kit for your car. Or you could get creative and modify the current fit kit on the towers and mount them into the stock rack anchor locations.
