Nice! That will feel nice on that bike.

My buddy Scott's, (who some of you have met) Session 7 just cracked... and Trek gave him a brand new 2010 Session 88 w. DHXRC4 for free.

Yeah, it's all rock obstacles which is pretty cool instead of wood bridges.

It looks like a long BMX track. Fun to ride, no doubt, but a little too...artificial or something.

killer rig. Have you used maxxis ardent's before? I had been looking at getting a pair but have heard from some folks they are on the thin side and can't take too much of a beating. Any insight on that?

I haven't. I have heard from some racers that they grip very well. I use DH tubes, so I'm not too concerned. It helps that they are only $20 from Jenson USA

I was going to buy ardents too but ended up getting minions instead. I've heard the side knobs wear quickly.

I am so freaking excited for highland tomorrow....working 7pm-7am tonight, highland for the morning/afternoon, sleep for a few hours, and back to work 7p-7a Friday night, Highland again Saturday (if the weather cooperates and if I can still stand up). Should be a zombie by the time Sunday rolls around but that's what monster is for.

Me too. It was just a couple splines too tilted. Shifting my weight from front to back would have been painful

So Happy Hour is pretty awesome, though it was SO muddy it was too difficult to really build up a good amount of speed. Can't wait to hit in in dry conditions. I'm going to be heading up this saturday and sunday, will be camping at Thousand acres campground (few miles from the park) if anyone wants to come up and camp you're more than welcome to join me.

Rode a gnarly trail off Cranmore Ski Area tonight. The entrance up top is purposefully hidden to keep yahoos off it. Took a huge crash on a drop near the bottom. Smashed my leg on a rock and hit a tree with my back. Here's the best part: after the crash I painfully got back on the bike and continued down the trail towards the end, only to run into two of my buddies heading up the trail with trail tools and a bucket of beers. Hell yeah! Instant pain killer right on the trail.
