Default Who's running 18's (need tire sugestions)

Well I sold my whitey's and I'm looking into some 18" subzero's when they are availible. I was running 215/35 scorchers but they way to low and thin. I'm thinking 225/40, but I don't know what tire to go with. Are the Pirelli P7000 directionals worth the extra $50 per tire over Kuhmos?

Default hey

Nitrohuffer- I'm not an expert on tire sizes or what fits what, but if I were you I would ask this same question in the "Suspension, tires, wheels" section.

I replaced the super-slick RE-92's with Kumho's last year and was pleased for like 15K. But then they started to wear away quickly. What's nice about them is that they are predictable. You always know when they'll break around sharp turns.........they don't surprise you like the RE-92's. Maybe that's why mine weared away so quickly?

im not sure how good the pirellis are because i only drove on mine for a day then had to put them away for the winter, but mine is 215/40-18 p7000's, they seem good, also at 70mph the steering wheel starts to shake, i dont know if this is from the wheels being wider or diff offset or if the tire and wheels arent balanced.
