Default 97 Legacy Outback Wagon

I am parting out a Legacy Outback Wagon, its a 97 with 138K miles on it. Engine threw a rod so that is definitely trashed. Don't ask, I don't know what happened, I bought the car for the interior.

I have the entire car left at this point except for a majority of the interior. Everything else is at a good price. Let me know what you all might want and I can see if I can help you out.

I can ship anything except body parts (most are dented or rusted anyways). The car is in Saranac Lake, NY. Pickup is an option.

Did the bad rood take out the heads as well, or are they ok? If so, how much do you want for them?

Honestly, don't know yet, I think that the LH head is good, the RH one is going to be obliterated. I made the hole in the block bigger and looked inside. The #1 piston is shattered and the rod is wrapped around the crank like a pretzel. I will keep you in mind, sometime in the next week or two I am going to pull the engine. Trying to get it turned over enough to get the torque converter plate to torque converter bolts out.

It is a 2.5, I don't know if the cat is good or not. The battery was dead so if there were any codes in it they are long gone. The wheels are corroded around the outer portion of the rim. I'm thinking about using them for snows. But may let them go if I get a good offer.

Complete intake minus the coil pack, I'll go $40 plus shipping.

Rear cup holder is history.

Let me know!

I know you said the interior was already elsewhere, but do you have the seatbelt clips that attach to the seat bases? And do you know if they are the same as a '99 Impreza? If you have them, can you send me a picture of one (and a shipped price to 01879)?

I do have seat belt buckles, if that is what you are referring to. I have no way of knowing if they will fit an Impreza or not. I wouldn't feel right selling you something like a safety item that I can't be sure is right. Let me know if you can find out.

The one I'm replacing says it's an AutoFriend model A1490, Made in Japan. Does that match yours? If not, can you at least send me a picture (neil at neilschelly dot com) and I'll compare visually.

I can use the LH (driver's side) front axle/CVs assy provided the boots are rip-free.

Please pm or email me-

Thanx!
