If anyone is interested in a killer deal on a set of the new RCE Regular Guy springs, AND wants to get a set before everyone else, we have an opportunity coming up very soon.
We just need pics of the final production set on a car and Dan and his STi are going to be out of town for a couple weeks. So if you're looking for a set of springs and don't mind us taking a lot of pics of your cars, then this is for you. ![]() Soooo....anyone in the MAIC area want to help us out? Give us a call at 410-579-1501. Thanks, Andrew Sekellick

Thanks for clearing that up
but we use a guy down the street who is really good and he does it for about $100. -Dan We have a tech at a local alignment shop that does great performance alignments. We can ask for -3.2 and still have a very straight steering wheel. Gives a sheet when done and doesnt take long. mw Last edited by RaceComp Engineering; 08-02-2007 at 11:16 PM. |

We have a testi (nice) now but we're extending another special to local guys since we've had so many interested inquiries.
Basically, if you want the springs, now is the time. ![]() - Andrew |

any better specs than a little lower than stock? I would like to get my nose out of the air and maybe level to the ground.?.reduce the nose dive in braking.

well a nice balanced suspension setup will help with nose dive, as will chassis bracing
![]() i'm really looking forward to getting these on along with my camber plates i'll have a review forthcoming including comparison times from the rally-x course at orange, va and autocross input on the setup compared to stock ![]() |

I think this is finally what I'm looking for. Do you recommend using these with the stock struts and shocks? Or do you recommend an upgrade on them as well?

These are designed specifically for the stock STi struts, so you're good to go.
You could upgrade to Ohlins struts, and that will be the ultimate set-up. BUT it's still great with just the stock STi struts. - Andrew |

About the Yellows, is the final drop height for the sti similar to the height numbers recommended all over the forums and in the T2 install directions? Thanks |

Cool, thanks for the info RCE! Still waiting on pics of the Blacks before I make my decision.
Not really concerned about ride quality and stiffness but, want an excellent performing spring and the Yellow seems like the choice for me but the height is holding me back. I already scratch my flaps on stock height and Im afraid I may shatter my lip if I go any lower. Hopefully the Blacks will be on par with the Yellows performance wise and still give me a noticeable drop. |
