Default What to expect with this setup?

So basically I am hoping for some general guesstimates here. I have an 04' STi. Because I do not live near a tuner and have no access to a dyno, I am hoping you guys could tell me roughly what this setup should do for whp/trq and possibly a rough 1/4 (assuming I have experience and can drive).

Mods so far include:

Cobb catless DP 3"
Custom 3" cat-back
Short ram intake
Cobb AP v2 stage 2 tune
93 octane pump gas

High power mods:

Polished shifter trim
Cleared headlights
Debadged

No but really, what should I expect? Thanks in advance. -Phil

Damn was hoping for a little more than that :/

Anyone know how much a stock STi gets at the wheels? I know its advertised for 300 at the crank.

near salisbury,ma you have access to plenty of tuners. if you had the vehicle tuned, i'd say about 300WHP. Stock STi's normally do about 225WHP.

Really? So far the only tuner even somewhat close (hour away in norwood, ma I think?) is Dentsports.

I was sort of hoping that the cobb stage 2 maps would be fine. I know a real tuner would probably get a little more out of it but since I am not a huge racer type and this car is also my daily driver, I was just curious to what the numbers would look like if I actually did get it dynoed.

with any off-the-shelf map, you are always leaving power on the table.Cobb can't send you a really agressive map and hope your car runs well on it. thats why they are tuned down. I would guess anywhere between 265-275WHP for an OTS map. And I do highly recomend Dent Sport. they aren't as far away as you think.

Thanks for the advice all. I will have to check out one of these tuners to really get my car dialed in I guess. I have heard good things about Dentsport, maybe I will head over there.

If you just do a search in NESIC for tuners, you will find out about all the ones that are local (KTR, DentSport, TDC, XX tuning, etc.) There are plenty.

Before you tune the car, see if the OTS map is enough for you then if you really want more go to your local tuner.

Head to a tuner and ask them to evaluate the car...most tuners I have been to with my Subaru-owning friends (bastards) seem to offer an evaluation for a negligible fee or even for no cost, and they'll tell you whether the car needs tuning to get enough power.

I wish I had tuner options 1 hour away. I drove 5 hours to Buschur Racing when I got tuned.
