But the VF22 is a lot better turbo than either of those

Seriously. Short of possibly the VF43, the 22 is the best IHI bolt on turbo out there.

$500 shipped for a VF22 in real good shape is far from unfair. It’s a hell of a lot of performance for that money. Ask anyone that has driven a VF22 car and a VF34/39 car. The difference in performance is immediately apparent

375 shipped is only fair on a VERY used VF22, and I have never seen a brand new VF22 for 600 shipped.

good price. free bump.
Don't let these nay sayers talk you down.
22 outflows a 34/39/43 any day.

Perfect turbo for a stroked 2.0L (2.2L).

Made 430 ftlbs of torque (on a mustang dyno) with a vf22 on an ej25.

In case anyone is wondering, 06 Scooby returned my e-mail and we are working things out. He seems to be a good guy who tried to do a favor for a friend and may have gotten burned. I'll let you all know how this gets resolved.

Apparently not that cool. Still no turbo and no refund. Anyone in Arizona know what's up with him? He seemed to be a popular guy among the SWIC crowd.
