Default Any burlington vt modders?

Hey guys!

Any of you from the burlington vt area? If so are any of you under warranty with mods?

Reason I ask is because I'm curious how burlington Subaru is with your rides? Any warranty claim denials ?

Any info on this would be great?

Thanks!!

It doesn't matter about the dealer. Start researching about warranty claims. It all has to do with SOA.
If an engine failure happens because of a mod they will deny your claim.

Ah I thought it was pertinent to what the techs say at your specific dealer. Is a cat back something "SOA" likes to deny claims for power train related parts?

A cat back exhaust won't even raise an eyebrow.

Don't do mods that can affect your warranty, and then expect the techs or dealer to participate in you defrauding Subaru. Think about it. Subaru pays the dealer a lot more money than you'll ever spend there.

Besides, techs HATE fixing a car they know has been modded under warranty. (It's a flat rate thing.) A tech can fill out a form, take a few digital photos, send it down to SOA electronically without the service advisor or service manager ever knowing he did it. SOA decides if they will then deny the claim, or (worse yet) flag your VIN.

Pay to play.

Awesome thanks for that I appreciate it. I didn't know if I'd have to get under my car and keep switching the catback back to stock... For every check up or maintenance related task.

All I plan on doing until my extended warranty is done is a catback only. Maybe after I'll do more or it'll be a trade by then.
