I have a couple of questions. Ok i have done the basics, the car was recently oil changed, its clean inside and out, i got a new intake so filter is clean, uhh, i think thats bout it. The only thing is the plugs, they told me it would help them out more but i dont want to pay 100 bucks for them to put in new plugs. So i think im ok on plugs, now the next thing is that right now i have an AP bov right now and i know that is a bad bov but i lost the stock one, so my question is should i keep that one for my tune or should i get a better one? Right now my mods are
APS FMIC APS Turbo inlet pipe APS 65 mm CAI TBE Stock turbo so should i get the aps fmic bov or something else? Any help would be appreciated.

you don't need to upgrade your stock boost solenoid for your tune. you have the same car as I do and my tuner even told me that it was not needed. If the tuner is good he shouldn't need an upgraded one with our cars...
now a wrx is a different story. look at my numbers I put down and that should put ur mind at ease as far as upgrading the boost solenoid --J Last edited by TheSilverFox; 08-03-2007 at 03:40 PM. |

well they said it holds boost longer, as for the plugs like rexman 2002 said first time it takes a while and i really dont want to try to install those and have something go wrong. My tuner told me the plugs were not needed just recommended and the solenoid he told me it was a popular choice and it does not hurt so why not.

how about the MAF hose ? perring MAF hose is like $40 and it will impact your tune. you can save the rest and send a beer to me
