You didn't replace anyone, you are incapable of it. None of Junior's customers have posted in this thread and the only mention of him was that his tunes on the same dyno didn't look like junk the way yours do. Keep on bringing his name up and he will just keep getting more and more business from it and you will just keep setting yourself up for a bigger problem. Just like the last thread, Junior stays out of it and you look like an *******.

And logically speaking, you don't have anyone coming back for you to re-tune the cars you ****ed up because they bring it somewhere else. Why would anyone want you to mess around with their car after you already ****ed it up? You offer free service because the customer is obviously paying for what they get!

Give it a rest Al... it's too bad you don't have much work to keep you off the internet over there.
Not for nothing Jen... you should actually stay out of this. If you only knew how many customers have come back with poor tuning from the previous tuner and blown motors within the last 2 weeks you would definetly stay off the Nasioc forum and try to enjoy the wonderful weather the week-end has to bring. Al had been working very vigorously around the clock tuning many out of state cars, many of which are from your home NJ.

As far as work, AL HAS plenty... and I mean plenty of work, more than I have ever seen as far as Subaru and EVO work. They are just stored in the new facility indoors waiting to be modded and tuned. I have been around the block and have seen my share of tuners. Al will not tune around an existing issue. He makes sure everything is working properly before he tunes. He does NOT start of trying to make ultimate power right of the start. What he does as a smart concious tuner is start of with the basics, such as idle, part throttle, drivability and the WOT. Sure he may leave some room on the plate, anyone can make a high horsepower dyno number!!! but will eventually fall apart and detonate its self to death on the road. Al's tunes are super smooth and safe, and drive exceptional on the road without ANY CEL light. Once Al is done tuning the car he will go out on the road and data log each car and make changes if needed to assure a great reliable package.

As you can see I am not bashing anyone here just sharing what I have seen and experienced. Bottom line the customer is very happy and thats all that matters.

If Al doesn't like what I have to say, he could simply stop the ****-talking, post up his work, and take a classy stance on this forum, instead of ****-talking about another tuner. So, I will still continue to point out when Al misrepresents himself or someone else, especially when that person has nothing to do with the thread. You don't like it, don't read it. I said nothing about the car he just tuned, I just simply pointed out that once again he is misrepresenting himself and another very well-respected tuner on this forum, just like you have. I'm apparently hitting quite a nerve if you can ignore all the other comments in this thread regarding his actual work and come right to mine. So, I will take that as a compliment.

And btw, the day that I actually value your opinion Dave, is the day I will "stay out of this" and not come on the forums anymore. I do have a car and therefore I can post/read/give my opinion wherever I want to.

Great Jen.. I'm very glad you have a car, I also do. Neither you nor I have a Subaru. This thread is about a Stage 1 dyno 07 Subaru. Al can be a little rough around the edges meaning.. he is not going to kiss anyones ass and say things how he sees it, although I must say I have seen him in action these past few weeks tuning and he is a VERY GOOD tuner and enjoys it very much. Its more of a passion for him than the mighty dollar. There are many hatters out there in general, you and I both know it. What matters is at the end of the day the customer is happy and pleased. I may fold clothes at my laundry mat, but at the end of each day I do the best I can since im in buisness for myself.

I do apologize to you and the forum for my behavior, if I was out of line. Lots of people just want to bash Al. I"m convinced that people envy him for his hard work and tuning efforts. He is very experienced tuner who takes pride in his work. Thats my opinion, everyone else is entitled to their own. Lets get back on topic.

what a bunch of deutsche bags...

Al, I'm coming to see you guys at ICS this saturday (11th) for the CTSubie dyno day. I look forward to meeting you, my 99 RS coupe has a 2007 STi limited motor swap, and I look forward to having you tune it for me in the future.

P.S. Your replies have demonstrated your knowledge and tremendous patience, it's a shame you have to put up with it.

Cheers,

yeah, that's what i thought....you have NO experience with Al Just what people say on here

for every 1 car that ends up bad, there's 10x that many that run great....this goes with EVERY SINGLE TUNER!

Tuner's have some magical "make my crappy setup run great" hierarchy about them, and it's just not true. They're not miracle workers. It sucks to see someone that has something such as intercooler tubes blow off, a faulty exhaust or intake gasket, too much injector, too little of fuel pump, and it always get blamed on the ****** tuner.

Remember, every tuner is the best there is. Every tuner has the most knowledge and is always correct 60% of the time.

Do i doubt that Al, Clark, Jorge, Ed, Jarrad, Tim, Bill are great tuners? No way....they're all GREAT.

They all reach similar power very different ways.

As soon as a piston let's go on a "stock block 35r" setup (like mine) people are like "ZOMG! my tuner sucks! Al sucks! he only got 10k miles out of my block!"

idots.

I am really lost - I have not talked **** about any tuners work in this thread. I did not mention any one. I did not say anything bad about anyone either. Maybe there are hidden voices talking to you that I do not see?

The bottom line is the following :

I posted about a car I tuned which I wanted to talk about and show the dyno sheet

The actual customer who's car was tuned has posted his thoughts and observations

Thus far two professional tuners and the girl friend of a professional tuner have chimed in to critque my work and / or insult me in one manner or the other. I note for the heck of it that none of these so Professionals have elected to support this forum with vendor dues (for what ever reason).

I am used to this kind of stupidy and realize that any jack ass can sit behind a keyboard and insult whom ever they want.

I choose to simply explain myself where needed and NOT respond in kind to these kind of remarks. Trust me there is a sewage plant of **** I could sling about some of these characters, however, I strongly believe when you get in the muck and argue with pigs everyone winds up smelling like ****.

Sometimes, its better to just bite your lip and move on to a more productive activity (like dynoing a car later this eveing).

Cheers

AL

He is blowing cars left and right. No one is talking all of this about Al if it wasnt true. He cant tune. A perfect example was the trip to hawaii which i read a couple post before. On top of the other 10 people in this thread talking about how horrible al's tunes and service is. I personally have 2 friends who were tuned at al and now getting new motors put in. So no matter how you do the math. 2 + 2 will always = 4. AL FTL!

I see your Jun sign up date. (The time when Al joined forces with ICS) I guess when Al was working at THE SHOP he was a SUPER HERO.... now that he is working for ICS Performance he is a horrible tuner and he dosent know how to tune and blows cars up... Whatever dude.. You and all the hatters on this board will never put Al out of buisness, so you should stop spreading rumors, take all this extra time you have and use it in a contructive manner and do something positive in your life rather than Nut Swing and create problems.

Just want to add my 2 cents.... If some of you guys/girls knew half the stuff Al has done in the past you would feel different about him and how he tunes. Just ask him about how and why he left "THE SHOP". Al could be the best tuner in the world (which he is not) with all the stories I have heard and my own personal experience with him I would never let him tune my car.

BTW - not that it is anyone's business but I run my own business, I rent dyno facilities to tune my customers cars. I left The Shop on good terms and simply decided to take my business to another facility closer to my home and where I thought my customer's needs would be better met.

I choose to refrain from wasting further time on this pissing contest. Just becuase haters and screwed up individuals want to make up lies and insults and post them on the internet behind the security of a key board does not mean that I have to dignify such idiots with a response.

It is a real shame that a forum which I spent so much time on back in the early days of WRX turbo development has turned into a free for all of insults, name calling and false accusations. I have a lot of sentimental connection with this web forum, however, it seems to me that the mood these days here is very counter productive and unprofessional.

me along with i cant tell you how many people are laying down sick track times from using automaster. proof is in the pudding. automaster ftw. i wouldnt listen to the here say on this forum. everyone has there own opinion and experience with shops/tuners. go with who you are comfortable but dont judge a shop by someone elses experience. i didnt. just my .02. let us know how it turns out.

It seems that a lot of people feel the need to support their tuner of choice by attacking other shops and tuners.

So you are saying that people should ignore the moronic attacks and negative comments about your tuner of choice Auto Master and let the work speak for itself - great. Now you elect to come onto this thread and sling the very same kind of groundless personal attacks against another tuner - what does that make you ?

Did you believe your own words when you said "I wouldnt listen to the hearsay on this forum" Did you realy mean that ? If so then why are you participating in the same spreading of hear say you claim should be ignored?

To me the answer seems very clear - you want to support auto master and you want to attack other tuners.

I do not encourage my customers to engage in this behavior and I do not engage in this kind of negative marketing.

I prefer to just do my job and let the work speak for itself.

The ironic thing is that one of the things you accuse me of "lying" about in this thread is your opinion that a correction factor will always lower whp figures. In order to try and settle that subject for you - I applied the correction factor to the same dyno sheet (the power increased) and I supplied some data on correction factors. It is clear to me that no matter what I say you will claim that I am lying even when confronted with firm facts that show otherwise.

My customer - the guy who's car I tuned stated in this thread he is pleased with the results and the results he obtained at the tarck are in line with the dyno sheets I posted and the modifications he has. Really that is all that matters.

If the moderation and ownership of the NASIOC form condones and tolerates this kind of groundless vendor bashing and attacks by the supporters of various local shops it is very disappointing to me and means that in the end I will choose to have less involvement in the discussions on this forum.

lol o gee al. everyone knows this cause he did a post about his track time a week ago. why dont you look up all of the other facilities that ALL these other people on this thread who are complaining about you are from.

You need to learn that people arent out to get you or talk bad about you unless you do something. you think this is a hate thread? man, i cant wait to see what happens as your tuning continues within the next 3 months or so. what will those be? hate threads too?

It is really disapointing to me to see so much hate on these past pages. Seriously why does everyone HATE Al so much. He is very active on the forums always giving Positive feedback and constuctive comments to users. For every 10 people that love the service there is always someone who hates it, and feels like they were cheated. That's life. I dont know AL and i dont know any of the other tuners mentioned, but from my time here on the boards Al seems like he carries vast knowledge and a willingness to completly satisfy his customers. If my car wasnt already tuned i might give him a try and post up what really happens when you get a tune from AL minus all the bull****.
