Default CobbTuned Intake

So I just bought and installed the Cobb Tuned intake. Seems to have actually increased throttle response a tiny bit... no low end torque increase that I can tell, but it does seem to hit the redline a bit faster. The main difference is the sound. it's actually almost comical. At normal driving there is almost no sound change, but if you open it up, the sound is similar to a BMW sportbike at full throttle... tho maybe not quite THAT loud. I'll keep it tho.

well I have the 2.5RS, not a WRX... so it's a different setup... but I installed it myself... it's not cheap either at $260, but I figured I make money for a reason, I might as well use it...

Got mine installed. I don't think it's that loud to be honest. My Focus had a louder and deeper sounding intake. But I'm happy with it. I just can't decide which exhaust to get though....

The_Doctor,

A number of us here in the D/FW Metroplex have frequented Cobb Tuning. They are great! You just need to figure out the right times to go in order to avoid the traffic. Of course, if you are wanting anything specific done there, call them ahead of time, since they schedule things out, and they have a lot of fans (customers).

Cheers, GoodFinder
