Default Can Ecutek be tune 'live'?

Can it be tuned on the go? I've gotten an Ecutek reflash but am still not happy with the results. Car bucks and chokes when moving off probably due to the PE650 injectos i'm running.

I got the tuner "fine tune" it alittle and it did improve, but i noticed that he pulled over, made adjustments, restarted and tested it out, when asked, he said, Ecutek cannot be tuned on the move?

so basically, the tuner can only make adjustments such as timing, fuelling before and/or after a dyno run, then run it and if it knocks, stop the run, retune it and run it again??

If so, i can see how some tuners end up blowing engines.

no, no, that's not what I meant... our local Ecutek tuner does not, to my knowledge (afaik) use the ecutek software that requires reflashes.

I don't know for certain WHAT he uses, but I've seen/heard the dyno, it's live.

what I thought you were asking about was Delta Dash & if it live-tuned or not. it does not 'tune' fuel/load/boost et cetera (timing, idle, mebbe) but it does log.

I have NO CLUE what your tuner is using, for all I know it's the openecu/enginuity combo

I was speaking of the new (well, kinda new ) software that allows owners to tune live.

oops, I guess

$12k is the lowest ive heard the software would go for, i think the wrx software cost more.

What about map switching feature of the Ecutek? Is this only a boost map (from my understanding) or can it switch between ignition maps as well?

just the boost map..

but the factory ecu will run as much as possible
thats allowed in the ignition base / advance maps..
until it senses knock. then starts to pull timing.
