Default any eye doctors in the house? or recommendations on one (DFW)?

ok this is probably a total shot in the dark, but i'm going home (Dallas) in september and want to get my mom some eye surgery while she's there. she needs to get a cataract removed and he's really farsighted. She doesn't have insurance so i'm going to be paying out of pocket but its pretty daunting choosing one without insurance...in any case can anyone make any recommendations on a good optometrist...preferably in the DFW area (Las Colinas would be great)

Call an Ophthalmologist, not an optometrist.
