Default 07 Sti Hydra

Its here ladies and gentleman.. Its in my car and runs great!! I will go out and tune on my 2 hour commute home and hopefully have more success. After many months of waiting and putting up with the stock ECU I would like to thank Phil@ Element Tuning and the guys @ Worldone Performance for your support and look forward to the Hydramist and GT65 kit..!!

I have the normal mods. FMIC, intake and intake tube, 3"TBE, walbro 255, etc.. Mods that do not so much require a stand alone.. I just hate the fact that tuning the stock ECU you can only tune within the parameters of the stock ECU.. MAF, no RTP, need to install injector drivers for 1000cc injectors, not a spee ddensity system, no output options etc... I love to tune and seeing the features of the Hydra made me want to buy it.
I will buy the Hydra mist, 1000cc, GT65 turbo kit

Excellent, but in my experience they do take a minor tweak or two to run perfectly.

The Hydra is much more intuitive and easier to tune than the UTEC IMO keep in mind that I am a tuner newbie.

I was only able to upload the map and rive around for a little. I was having connecting problems because of the serial port malfunctioning on my laptop. The map seems to run a little rich but I can fix that with no problem!! MY PCMCIA serial prt card will be in today so I can tune again..

Nope. REMOVE it.

The Hydra doesn't power the front O2 sensor on the WRX or STi, and leaving an unpowered O2 sensor in the exhaust will kill it.

Plug the hole with a plug that comes with an O2 sensor bung (e.g. http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=250&page=2)

I tuned the car last night and all I can say is WOW.. Throttle response is much better, turbo spools up quicker, and the car overall drives smoother with the Hydra compared to the stock ECU. The base map I received from Phil was almost dead on, I used the autotune feature to make it perfect..
Highly recommended product..!!...
