Default Wheels (yes, once again)

OK. I am doing this backwards because I got a really good deal on rally tires. The tire I am getting is a 195 section width, for a 15" wheel. Is the offset different on Subaru 15" factoy wheels, or are all Subaru wheels 55 offset? If anyone has any cosmetically ugly 15" Subaru wheels they want to sell let me know, or if any of you have any leads on them. If I do not find a set of Subaru alloys, what width of rim and offset can I get away with using 195 width tires on a 2001 RS?

Thanks,

Gerg

15" subaru wheels are 55 offset too. I have a set from an early 90s legacy turbo. They can be had fairly inexpensively.
Fellfrosh7 on i-club knows a junkyard with some comestically beat-up alloys, great for rally. He was asking aroung $170 for four without centre caps. He is in Rochester, so shipping will cost you about 50-60.
Nicer refinished ones can be had from aaarims.com for about $110 @.
Centre caps, valves and nuts come in a kit for about $30 from subaruparts.com.
Someone from Toledo just sold a set of 15" with nearly new tires for $140 on the personal classifieds forum.

I went back about 3 months in the private classifides and contacted everyone who had a set that wasn't obviously sold a day or two ago. Hopefully I'll get some replies.

I'll pm Fellfrosh7 if I don't get anywhere in a week.

Thanks,

Greg

Thanks.

Thats exactly what I am looking for. In the end with shipping it is more than I want to pay though. They are in nice condition, so it is a good price for them. No sense in paying extra for a set of rims only to give them really bad road rash.

I am going to call the seller on moday to see if he has any more homely rims to sell me.

Great lead.

Greg
