my friend up in Ny.... bought this from japan......i kno the engine will not fit rigjht in the US spec legacy B4 but here it is.....

i saw it for myself in NY....its real...

That's too bad it won't fit in U.S. model or it would be sold and in my car! Why does the IC look like a used camping grill?

looks like an older twin turbo from the
2nd generation Legacy. Probably seen some
years, miles and use.

That's definitely a B4 TT engine. The intercoolers come from the factory powdercoated black. Don't know why.

I think it only fits in to a Right hand drive Legacy, So unless you have a U.S. postal Legacy and can do all the wiring your self don't buy it......:monkey:

yeap its a tough thing to sell since its RHD but its for anyone who wants to try....

maybe we ll use it for a project car.....the engine has about 11,000KM on it...

Irvine Subaru had one of those and was going to make a GT-B, but they decided not to and sold it. Someone in Canada bought it I think.

Do these things really go for $3000 normally? If so, I have GOT to make a trip to the junkyard, and spend some hours cleaning it for shipment..

i seen some for 5Gs and even over 10 Gs....but since i dont sell engines like my usually stuff i really dont kno.....i guess i ll shop around and see whats out there...

he also has the ECU and gear box for the engine as well

Holy bejesus.. I am SOOOOOOOO going to the junkyard and finding me a GT legacy wagon(lot more wagons running around here than legacy sedans).
