Question Motor Build

Since I'm planning on getting an Impreza in the future I have decided to build a motor for it till I get it. I'm trying to aim for a goal of 300-350whp.

This is a list of things that I have come up with so far of what I might want to do.

Block:
EJ22T

Heads:
Matching to block

Cams:
04+ sti

Turbo:
green

Exhaust:
3in

Pistons:
forged

Tranny:
unknown

Engine Mangament:
either standalone or piggyback.

Would Like to get peoples opions on this.

Since no one has given me any input I will ask what would a good motor be for 5k-10k?

What car is it going into?

Tranny?

How much money do you want to spend on the motor?

If you don't already have a motor, IMHO a 2.5sti block w/ 2l wrx heads will do it.
Even if you don't get headwork I'd recommend having the chambers resized. Smooth simple street motor. Cheap.

I was wondering the same thing.

At first I thought it was miles and I started to type CRAWF... then realized it could also mean dollars.
