Dave Brown tuned me to 411whp on a 95 degree day

went to no limit motorsport in medford, ny on 8/1...the temp in the shop was 95 degrees.... and dave brown still managed to pull crazy (safe) power outta my car!

04 wrx
sti short block, w/ported wrx heads
turbochargers.com 8cm frank 50 (externally gated)
SMC meth kit
perrin big maf
alsong with several other less important goodies......

In exactly a week I go in for tuning with most likely the same conditions and very similar mods. Great numbers - I'll be on a Dyno Dynamics as well.

why would you port the heads and use stock wrx cams??? Sti ones can be had for cheap and are a decent upgrade.

Whats up with the nose dive in tq after 5K, were you able to hold boost till redline or was it tapering?

once i raised the boost levels with the water/meth she would only take a certain amount of timing-higher compression-.i agree with youm guys on the cams.

i blew my wrx 2.0 block back in december, and i was on a budget during this rebuild.... so, since the stock heads were off the wrx block, figured i might as well port em....

should have spent the money towards cams, then porting.....Like i said sti cams can easily be had for under 250 and would have made a difference
