Hey Chris I finally got the huge TMIC installed on my 09 wrx. What a pain to install. You guys should make it a hair smaller to install easier and change the angle on the throttle body inlet. A $800 piece should not be that hard to install.

Chris, I have the Perrin front strut tower bar, and I'm looking to upgrade my TMIC on my 2012 wrx, but I can't get yours because your strut tower bar and TMIC dont work together....... Why wasn't this taken into consideration when designing?

I've heard their TMIC doesn't fit your model year anyways. Don't quote me on that, but that is what I have heard.

Nah it works with 08-13 wrx. At least on their website and through some vendors I've been talking to.

I read somewhere that a guy with an 11 wrx said it wouldn't fit. Google it.

Sorry for the hassle. When we designed the strut brace back in 07, it actually fit on the 08 with our TMIC just fine. But something changed either because of the different turbo or something else in the 09+ WRXs that made it not clear the brace.

We don't want to really want to make the TMIC smaller, because we want to have the have the best intercooler on the market, but we may update the strut brace some time in the future to make them compatible.

Thanks for the reply. Have you guys had any feedback on which strut bars do fit with your TMIC on the newer models? I've done some research on it, just wondering if you guys have any more info than I do.

Pretty much none without modification, there was one or two I think tanaba and one other can't remember that could be made to fit

A best tmic would fit better. We are talking minor reductions. You would sell more units. Just sayin.
