Default What do you think of this wheel?

It only comes in a 17x7 but has a +40 offset so it will have a little bit of a lip. It will be going on an 02 Bugeye in the Sedona Red Pearl that has the Prodrive lip and painted sideskirts. I am going to lower the car at the same time with some type of coilovers, still undecided on that.

I just want to make sure that these would look good. They would similar to dgericd's wheels but in 17's. He has a +38 offset and it looks awesome. Thanks for any facts, opinions, etc.

I need some help,
Josh

17x7 is a waste of time, IMO. If you want to be limited to 225 wide tires, then go for it.

It is a nice LOOKING wheel, but I agree with the earlier poster - if 225 is all you intend to run, its a good call. Otherwise you are limiting yourself.

I like the wheel and 225-wide tires are just fine for street use.

I don't think I'd go that low on the offset, though...but that's just me (I like to stay in the +48 or higher range for a 7" or 7.5" wide wheel).

it's nice, almost stock looking. You might want to go with a different colour if they are going on a red car.

I love that Fikse wheel! I have CCW's on my 03 Cobra and really like how the lip looks on those. I would love to have the Fikse wheel on my WRX, but for a daily driver I just cant see paying that kind of money. It was hard enough to buy them for my 03 Cobra.

I may have to try them out,
Josh

That's so funny, I was actually going to say it resembled a Fiske wheel also. I do like them, too bad they don't come in at least a 7.5" width.
