Subaru Banner Feeler : 97 Legacy L

Hey, I am contemplating selling my 97 Legacy L (automatic). I have owned the car for over a year already and have put about $2000 in parts and extra into it. When I bought the car it had 172k. We swapped it with lower mile block and replaced the gaskets and belts on it. Also put on 3 new struts (1 was new on the car when I bought it), All new pads and rotors, EGR solenoid, all new hoses, and flushed and replenished all liquids. When I bought the car the bumper had a crack and there was a pretty good sized rust spot behind the passenger rear wheel well. I had these fixed ( although now there is another bubble forming behind the same well.) I also had a stock spoiler painted at the same time and put that on. Then I installed a Pioneer DEH-P3800MP stereo that cost me a pretty good amount. Its a nice car and I would hate to see it go but for the right offer I would let it go. I would only consider a trade if it was for a manual subaru. I won't ship this car. I would consider delivering within 200miles for extra. This car is located in Addison,IL (zip code 60101) Post and tell me what you guys think shes worth!

Only know problems with this car are:
1) the rear speakers are blown
2) recently developed an oil leak that I will have fixed.(bad seal)

Car currently has just over 178k heres the pics. Those rims were on the car when I bought it. They were made by MB Motoring.

You have any pics of the rust spot?

What sort of price range are you thinking of?

Very nice looking Legacy.

Impressive.

Based on the front bumper, grill and one piece headlight & turn signal assemblies I would guess that it is most likely a 1996 Legacy... not a '97...

Well... either that, or maybe it is in fact a 1997 Legacy that had a minor front end hit, and the body shop replaced the bumper, grill and headlight & turn signal assemblies with parts from a '96.

Thanks for the complements!!!

Just a comment on the above post I looked it up and the grill and headlights on my car above were used on base model Legacies years 95-97. The Legacy Outback and GT front grills, headlights etc were used on cars 96-99 but they do not fit these base models.
