I will have to say my 09 has some noisy ass relays in the cabin. When you have the front and rear windshield washers on, its just a clicking storm in there. Also when you put the key to on and/or remove the key, all sorts of relay clicking .

I stopped by the dealer and the service dept. was closed but I got my sales man to get the keys to a 09 WRX and a 09 Impreza wagon and both of them were identical to the relays in mine. And to explain further, I am very very sensitive to noises from my car so I probably exaggerated above . Usually wiper relays are in the engine bay, but in the Impreza they are under the dash and not very well insulated.

no they will not direct bolt on. there are a few companies such as wbr out there that make adapter plates so that you can use any BOV you would like . There are also a few after market bolt on BOV solutions

Air pump. Next time you start your car, listen very carefully. It will sound loudish for about 15 seconds. Then you'll hear a pshhhhhhh and the engine will idle quieter. That is the secondary air pump shutting off.

You can remove it, the tubing, and the driver side valve. However the MAP is inside the passenger side valve so you have to keep it. Then you need to buy blockoff plates and have a tuner to tune out the CELs.

I run the PERRIN stiff kit which is 25mm f/22mm r and with their endlinks...definitely worth every penny I spent! Current setup is the softest on both the front and rear as I drive some gnarly Kentucky roads.

So if anyone loses a shifter linkage pin while driving, you're not the only one

Mine is super loud for about 10 to 15 seconds after start up. I can here it out of the exhaust and it sounds nasty. I don't like the sound at all. Does not sound healthy.

There are actual differences between the two years:

Sway bay is larger, side ground effets are slightly different design, offered in different colors, models (IE. limited) , nav system is slightly different, interior changes (tones, stitching), ECU maps are unique to each year, 0-60 specs are supposebly different (not sure how) but SOA have quoted seperate times for each year.. ('10 being slightly faster)

all in all, pretty much the same, lol subaru didnt just put a badge on a car and say here is our 2010 lineup haha..
