Just my two cents!

I have had SPT's on my WRX's and haven't had any issues.

It is minor and does not cause a big problem, but if one is purpose built, that is even better. Now that we have confirmed fitment, we will add this down pipe to our site shortly. Invidia is the manufacturer of this beautiful piece. We do have these in stock in non catted version for any one who is looking.

what, if any, logging software is available for use with the CANbus system?

I've done some preliminary research and have found that openecu (or whatever it is called) should be able to read, but won't be able to burn maps (which is fine by me, I just want to log).

Has anyone verified this, or should I just try it out for myself?

Nah. AFAIK All 02-07 WRX tranny was the same, the difference was in final drive ratio. I believe 08 WRX tranny is also as before.

LGT tranny is much stronger than WRX tranny, it's JDM non-RA STI 5spd tranny.

Plus it's 4.11 final drive on 05-06 and 3.90 on 07-08 vs. 3.70 on 06+ WRX

Does anyone know if there are parts available for the 2.5i hatch's? I'm interested in getting more power out of my car but I can't seem to find any information on what company has an air intake or an exhaust. Any help would be appreciated. thanks.

I'm getting frustrated finding exhausts for the sedan. I wonder if the Legacy exhaust will fit the 08 sedan?

I think he may have meant that he will put you on the list to be notified when the exhaust was ready, not I'll email you and give you a date for when it will be ready.

I have an 08 LGT and log using APV2 cable and ecuexplorer. Cobb have posted in their forums a "hacked" ecuexplorer that will work with APV2. It's hit and miss if it will work for you, it seems to be a 50/50 success rate for most. I have it running on one laptop but it does not run on another ...
Or you can purchase a tactrix cable and use enginuity to log.

LaChute in Canada has catbacks for the 08 wrx sedans. For about 850. Good price for a dual exhaust IMO.

Note: I don't know if it's the best price, but considering Borla's exhaust costs 1300, I'd say go with LaChute.
