Default Prodrive Cold Air Intake w/ fender plug

***SOLD***

Yeah I know i'm the guinea pig when it comes to tinkering and testing. I just picked this intake up a week ago, installed it, ran it for a few days and took it out. great intake, I love it more then the APS 65mm CAI I had but honestly I'm not running any other mods that warrant a CAI, and the BOV like sound is not for me.

This is a 2 piece design similiar to the AEM, however it's not an AEM piece. The MAF is positioned a little further down and carries a different C.A.R.B. certification number.

The best feature is the synthetic mesh oilless filter. It offers the best filtration around and to clean it simply wash it in mild soapy water, rinse, and dry. No oil to fuss with or worry about getting on the MAF. What else do you expect from prodrive.

I ran this intake and never got a CEL on my 06 STi. This will fit WRX, STi, and the Forrester XT. I've been communicating with a prodrve employee if this intake needs a tune or not and the answer is no. It's right along with the SPT intake, APS, and Cobb SF. If you have other mods, i.e. upgraded turbo, boost controller, injectors you're prob going to protune it anyways. With the summer temps reaching 100 degrees lately, this CAI does make an improvement over the stock box. Sound wise, it's not as loud as the APS CAI, but you can still clearly hear boost build up under wide open throttle and the BOV sound when you shift... anyways enough yapping, here's a pic i stole from capecod. (capecod if you want me to remove it, i'll be glad!) I just don't have access to a camera other than a camera phone and this is an actual pic of the intake and the fender plug which covers the hole.

On a side note Prodrive is sending me some prodrive stickers in the mail. If you search this intake you'll see some pics where people place the prodrive sticker on the top of the intake. I'll have the sticker seperate so you can do what you wish with it. Prodrive wants $299, cheapest i've found it is $249 while ebay is still over $200.

Yours for $180

instead of wasting money you should just ask to borrow things for a week, and if you like it.... welll.... then you can make "meld" payments 5 dollars here and ther.

He would never need the "if you like it" scenario. I think even when he likes stuff, he sells it out of some burning need for change He should like make a database of all the parts he has tried with his feelings on them, rate then 1-10 and maybe do comparison write-ups He could make Encycolpedia Subaruica.

Hey Mark, not meaning to crap in your thread, but seriously man, I don't know who you are talking about, and seriously, if that is all you have to say, come say it to my face, Man, being me, and rat being you, or woman, or not even a woman, but a girl. Seriously man, if you have anything else to say to me, lets hear it, no more of this "i'm so tough behind a computer crap"

Someone better buy this intake!!! I bought it from the dealership for $275, so $180 is a kick ass deal. I love this intake, pure greatness, I have it on my 07 STi and have had no problems. What else can you expect but perfection from Prodrive. You will not regret this buy!!! Take care guys!!!

it will not fit an a naturally aspirated impreza. the intake bolts onto the throttle body on those models. and bump.
