i'm planing a setup to put a 16g in my wrx but can people post there setups and what they got out of them with a 16g please, any help and ideas would be greatly apreciated

You are most likely better off asking questions in the 2.0 powertrain forum because this turbo is more suitable for that engine size and you ahould be able to find out the most there. Just go to the seach tab and type in "16g".

+1, search for Momentum under my name....it's just a little bigger than a big 16g (585 CFM).

13.1 in the 1/4 mile is what I got from my "small" 16G @ 18psi so far. That was a 1.89 60' as I recall.

I won't bother to quote you dumb dyno numbers.

Cobb Catted DP
Daddy's Header/Up-pipe
PE 650 inj.
APS Turbo Inlet
AEM CAI
Perrin Pulley
Walbro FP
Borla "Hush" Exhaust
EcuTek

Crucial cooling kit (t-stat, redline water wetter) (coolant is overdue for a change)
NGK one step colder plugs w/6k on them
OIL: Mobil 1 10w30 dino w/2500 miles of usage
Trans. fluid: Uncle Scotty's cocktail w/2500 miles of usage
Fuel filter due for a change


I have since added a Greddy Profec B Spec II boost controller and switched to a Prodrive CAI.

Original tune was for 18.5 psi tapering to 17 at redline, but I have since P+P the stock headers, and ported the IWG to prevent the boost creep I was getting. I am now running 20 psi peak tapering to ~18.5 at redline.

I must say, that I now have ~15K miles on that turbo and it still performs awesome!! Alky injection is the next upgrade

cant wait to see what my car does with an evoIII 16g. i was able to knock off a 13.2@105 on the td04 with headers, turboback exhaust, & intake on 17 psi untuned.

3300-3400rpm in 4th. I used to spool a bit later before I got the AVC-R (closer to 3800rpm).
