Default Dang, we'll have to change the date!

The world travelers are going to be there?

Glad to read you'll make the last event of the season!

The Registrar should have the event posted at dlbracing.com SOON! I will try to answer questions for the Event Chairman, so please, post as they come up! I know that he has some "assorted" prizes for finishes and his TART Team has been laying in plans for the weekend.

Nothing so boring as straight drags MikeyMike! Yes, the classes remain the same, yet they really don't factor into the competition. Competitors will run the course for their best times during the first part of the day, and then a double-elimination solo drag will take place. Vehicles, given handicaps will depart on opposing sides of the course and (without an off-course or pylon-displacement) the first to get back to their starting line wins. o/c or +cones will be automatic disqualification!

basicly solo drags, two cars start at a different place on course at the same time, first to cross their finish line wins. Or something to that effect.

*edit* what she said

Yup we'll be there. Already swapped days so I can be there.

It should be a great wrap-up to a great season. The solo drags are fun, last year the course was a loop, with 2 cars starting on opposite ends of the loop. Car's had time handicaps based on trial runs, and whoever came across the line first won, and basically moved on to the next round. It's a typical auto-x course, not a straight-line drag.
Last year was my first solo drag event, and was a lot of fun. By the end, my hands were shaking!

Venustas and Mikeymike, come out for the whole weekend! Winter's coming, enjoy what's left of summer driving.

Yeah, that's a good summery right there. For those of you that want to "race" against people, this is pretty much the only (safe) chance you'll ever get. You'll be going against other people, at the same time. so yeah, it's awesome.

oh. well, if that's the case, then expect me buying a set of slicks for the next event too. i don't believe it changes my class, so nothing to worry about for me.
