Default How to tune out lift knock...

I know about riching it up, reducing timing, or boost. But i get this knock after i lift off the throttle. While I'm going WOT there is no knock. It looks like the ecu to utec control effed this one up. Need less to say I am really uneasy with an 19 count let alone any knock at all.

This is a 4th or 5th gear pull. My rpm is looking wierd it goes up and down. But that could be because of UTI rpm smoothing.

Is your ECU reflashed.
What octane are you using?

That is crazy lean!!!! 25.00 is horrible. In fact after 3500rpm it is getting really lean. (if that is the AFR column)

yes that is the afr but thats after i already lifted the throttle. I'm using UTI fast logging that is why you still see some of those values as if i were still on it.

I am tuned i am running richer than 11.5:1 which is my target. This knock only happens when i lift off the throttle. While I am WOT there is no knock in these load sites.

this is 93 oct. and yes my ecu is reflashed for scaled injectors and a very very under tuned fuel and timing map.

I am not sure if I am reading your columns correctly but I had the same problem. What I did was set conservative timing in all columns. I know it will hurt part throttle performance but who cares if you are not going all out anyway.

Adjust your BOV so it vents quicker. According to this log you lift a little but your BOV has not vented and the boost PSI stays the same. Could be just a fast logging issue however, can't tell.
