Default Removing the rear bumper on a BG

So i have some rust repair work to do on the rear quarter panels and to do it, i need to remove the rear bumper. Now i can see all the screws and clips directly on the bottom, are there any in the rear wheel wells, or on top?

I searched and nothing came up

It shouldn't be too hard, but I would just simply follow each line of the bumper and remove the bolts you see. I can't imagine it would be worse than a front bumper.

take off the carpeted panels inyour trunk area, and you'll see some more just hiding away underneath. i think there's something like 14 or some insane number like that of screws/clips holding on the rear bumper?

I was able to undo the screws (well in reality, i broke the head off one, argg) in the wheel well and the clip below the bumper and there was enough play in the bumper to wedge it away from the quarter panel.

thanks for the info guys

Only one?

When trying to remove my front bumper, I snapped the heads off of all 5 bolts that I tried. I gave up after that......

if you're talking about all those stupid nylon screws, i cut all of mine off when i took my front bumper off the first time, now i only use the nylon push rivets.

2 under each tail light will give you most grief, I removed taillights to access slightly easier (assuming same for LHD/USDM as RHD/JDM)
