Congrats to everone doing a hybrid, seems more people are turning this way, this forum is filled with hybrid posts and questions, So i got one too!
Took the car for a drive last night and everything was great, about 5 miles,
wake up changed my fluids looks good , no coolant just super fine flake. Then went out for another cruize today after fluids changed, went about 10miles no prob, got to the freeway ramp and shifted 1st 2800 2nd 3300 3rd 4500 and 4th 5100, "mind you i have a 6speed" , by this point i was at freeway speed about 80 and was cruizing lovin the thing, turn on the radio, then listened................., a moment later about 2mins, i see the check engine, Damb thing!!
Got to a local car place and got it scanned read a 0546 egt high
and a 302 and 303 cylinder 2 and 3 detected and misfire!
What do ya think!

The superfine flake could very well be the rings seating and some of the cylinder wall from a fresh hone.....

I always get the 2 and 3 misfire codes. It was scary at first, but everything checked out so I just quit worrying about it. 20k later everything is still fine.
I know that doesn't help you any, but thoroughly check everything out and if there's nothing there then there's nothing there.
