Hi all ,
I would like to get the prodrive BCS , everyone says it is so good , the only problem is my GC8 originally use a 2 way BCS , is there an easy way to use the prodrive one ?
What difference with 2 or 3 way BCS ?

Read through the following. They should answer your questions.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=870619

http://www.tarmacwolf.org/dokuwiki/d...boost_solenoid

Here is a detailed description from Cobb of how the stock boost control system works.

http://www.cobbforums.com/forums/ima...mWorksv109.pdf

These should have all the answers you need.

All Subarus have 2 port BCS. The reason people go with a Prodrive or GM BCS is because its 3 port. If you look at that link thats posted from Cobb, scroll all the way to about 3/4 maybe a little bit more. There are 2 diagrams of the difference between 2 port and 3 port....

This is something that needs tuning. It wont run right if you install a Prodrive 3 port BCS without tuning and adjustments...

Thanks,
from what i understand ,the 3 way BCS allow for better boost controlling , i know it will need lower wastegate duty cycle .
Iam runing 24 psi on the stock BCS , i hope the Prodrive one will be an imrpovement
