There is a lot of info about this out there already. Do a little researching. You need to tune for them just like everything else.

A friend of my had an external gate on his Deadbolt Superzilla 55, and caught some of the wires near the exhaust on fire, at an auto-x event. It wasn't pretty especially with 3 fire extinguishers dumped on it.

I have in the past but heard mixed opinions about it. I would think that it would trip something in the ECU cause another one of the picky streaks with the Suby. But does anyone actually using an external wastegate?

holy new thread day!

to my knowledge only darkaura is running an external wastegate. others will be soon though...

by the time you have one of these your ecu has bigger issues you've hopefully dealt with...

Reconracer (who was here til recently, but moved south) recently got a 20g and EWG setup. I haven't heard how it is running for him. But everything I read indicates that external wastegates are MUCH BETTER for pretty much everything. But as AWDBST said, they require tuning like any other major mod.
