Default Heads up for MO buyers... Lou Fusz St.Peters Subaru

I recently went to look at buying an 06 aspen white thy had on the lot, "brand new" with about 3xxxx miles on it. I asked if had been demo'd, the dealer proceeded to tell me he was new there (sounded like maybe his first week on the job, talking about his classic mustang and what not) and didnt know much else about it other than it had actually been stolen "a couple weeks before" driven all the way to Denver where it was found.

well.

I logged onto my local suby forum (stlsubaru.com for those who are around) and inquired about this car, only to find that Ron, (Axis power racing Ron) had in fact also looked at this car, MONTHS before, and someone else gave him another story on it, also being stolen though, but the car looked like a wreck. I have heard story after story after story about this car, and the dealer is looking to get 30 grand out of it still. I can only imagine what it went through being driven to Denver of all places. we all know a someone stealing a car isnt going to be pussyfooting it around in Grandma mode. And now the car looks in top shape.

Just a word to the wise, if you were ever looking into this car. You might want to dig a little deeper and find out its true history

on a side note **I have never had any other problem with the dealership, and usually have had a good experience over all dealing with them in the past.**

IIRC, Theft recovery vehicles can't be sold with a clean title anywhere in the country. I'd call the secretary of state and report them.

agreed, that thing should be titled as a theft recovery/rebuilt but something tells me the title was washed somewhere along the way.
