Showing the map might not be possible, as its not "mine". ![]() Also this is just a Stage 2 Base map, needs to be worked over. This is just a base dyno run so we have something to compare it to. |

Its ok, you can post the map if you want. It is freely available on enginuity.org
From looking at the AFRs he reported it is running leaner now than when I put the basemap on there. I need to head out there and log his car, but when we flashed it the logs show perfect timing and MAF flow numbers about equal to the car the basemap was developed on. Map is available here. http://www.enginuity.org/viewtopic.p...566&highlight= |

I put down 203awhp when I was stage 2 tuned by Dynocomp on a DynoDynamics dyno with Ecutek. Mine felt strong. Stock WRX's put out 160 or so there.

I put down 243.3hp and 240.0tq on a mustang dyno at only 14.5psi. This was at stage 2. Stock STI on the same dyno was 255 / 265 less than 10 minutes prior to my run. It was probably the same dyno as Vahnatai since I was in Dallas when it pulled those numbers.

Just for you, same setup made 200hp / 210tq on a dyno dynamics dyno at Dynocomp in Phoenix on 91. Only mods difference between the two was Ecutek tuned in Phoenix and Unichip tuned in Dallas. The other 20hp was the altitude difference.

204 awhp seems just a tad bit lower than mine. i have catless downpipe, catback, k&n drop in filter, and an aps bov with the ecutek flash and dynotune @ dynocomp in phx. my car dyno'ed at 216hp with a little over 200 ft/tq. that 240 awhp sounds damn good!

Just to put in my .02, my car put down exactly the same numbers on the same dyno the following day. I talked to Kito and Dominic who tunes for them and also tuned my car as well as some other guys and they said stock wrx's usually put down in the 160ish range on that dyno. I'm pretty happy with it for a road tune without and WB02. I'm still running a catted downpipe as well. I'll try to post up my graph later.

Yeah, im with everyone else on the numbers seeming low but it was also on a MustangDyno which typically reads lower then a DynoJet or DynaPack.
What kind of weather were you having when you dynoed the car? Temp makes a big difference, the roomates STi, made near 40 whp more when it was about 15 or so degrees cooler outside |

Another Texas guy here about to spew some dyno numbers. I have a TurboXS uppipe, and full catback with 1 racing cat in the midpipe. K&N airfilter and unichip and made 228/231 on a Mustang dyno. If the difference is 15-20 hp/tq for 93 octane then let's meet in the middle and say 17. So you should be around 211/214 hp/tq. This was running around 15 psi with no other mods. It does sound a bit low, but all cars put out slightly different numbers. Just for refence I gained 61 hp over my stock (baseline). I went from 167 to 228 hp with full catback, uppipe, EM, and air filter. Look at your stock gains to really see how well you're doing, adjusting for percentages obviously. So I gained roughly 36.5% versus stock. Take your stock hp numbers and see what percentage you increased, and you should be within 5% of my gains or anyone else here with the same mods.

I also got my car tested there this weekend. I have a 03 wrx opensource tuned, vf30, sti pinks, walbro fp, ssautochrome tmic and catless exhaust. At first I had cobb 2.5 map and now with the opensource tune I felt a pretty good increase in power. And I only managed to pull a 232 hp on that dyno. Back to the drawing board for more power
