Default How much can a built 06 wrx motor handle??

Just as the title says. How much power is the 06 wrx motor able to handle if you build it up. pistions, rods, cams. porting it out? dont know what route to go down?

If you want to drop the money into it you can build it to handle 500+hp. Of course that would require, sleeves, pistons, rods, maybe even crank, heads, and around 5k in machine shop work. I think a better question is how much power do you want to make and figure out your build list based on that. Certainly if are wanting to get into the really high hp range you are probably better off swapping it for an EJ257 (STI) shortblock at least.
