Default 04 STi EWG vf39 Protune by Mike W.@GST

car is an 04 STI

Very pleased with the two Maps that I got, but who cares about the DD 91 piss gas map, i'm here to share my race gas map with you guys...but my dd is hella safe and pulls very strong, 20 whp over my prior protune on 91 from mike, so now my 91 map is 274whp/281wtrq

The torque is just raw and early on race gas as you can see in the graph below...this map is also very safe. From what mike said, there is still a bit left on the table. I'm going to try and put down some times with this map and then see how it goes, hopefully earl or I can bring 11's on stock turbo vf39 to mike and GST motorsports.

engine mods:

helix catless dp
greddy evo II catback
Hallman pro rx Manual boost controller
Perrin Y pipe IC piping kit
Ultimate Racing up-pipe
TiAL 38mm External waste gate(venting to atmos, UR dump tube)
APS Turbo inlet
APS 65mm Cold air intake
Cobb Accesport V1

Currently holding highest whp record for stock vf39 on an STi on the GST dyno

This dyno reads a stock STi at 210whp-215whp

Engine pic for fun(got some cleaning to do and hiding some wires and what not)

Many thanks to 2scoop (Ronaldinio) for the wrenching/teaching. Thanks earl, sean(downsti), and ed for the help also. Norcal subies are fast subies

thank's man! I've been waiting 5 years to get a setup that could put down these kinda numbers...

24psi peak, iirc 18 or 19@ redline(i'm not sure) maybe mike will chime in

iirc coated headers from crucial was the only differnce in our setups...i wanted to follow a setup that worked for sure, he ran the 11.7@113 Mad props to sean for that. He is a great guy, and is farking hilarious too!

I would love to get headers and maybe i can get some help on a link to some dyno#'s on stock STi turbo with some different brands of headers; for the money though I would rather have a new turbo...probably , wouldn't you think the same?

I think the stock headers flow pretty good too, but I have no data. When you are trying to squeeze every bit of power out of the motor though, headers is the next thing to do, you are correct. Also a cross pipe is one my list of things to do. I want to see how it runs at the the track with this 312/360 race gas setup...I would be very happy first night out to run very low 12's...high 11's will take excellent driving by me. So say a prayer for my quick shifting and that my car hooks up

Nice numbers bro! I think with good traction and fast shifting 11's can be attained with your setup.
