Default 2007 STi tuned by Chris @ XXTuning

Went to XXTuning today and got ProTuned by Chris. I would just like to say he is a really patient, and customer oriented and is a good guy for putting up with me being a noob and wasting his time.

With only a Invidia V3 DW DP, Blitz Exhaust and Cobb AP EM as my only power mods I must say I'm really impressed.

The car pulls so strong and the turbo spools much smoother, I couldn't be happier with the tune and it was more worth the drive from Stamford/Greenwich area and will be returning for future re-tunes for sure.

Thanks Mac, glad you were able to get tuned today. We had three 07's lined up today, you forgot your AP, the second hit a jersey barrier on the off ramp to our shop, and the third I finished up tonight with an SR56... Crazy Day, but I'm glad your happy.

As for the power drop after 6200, it has nothing to do AVCS, there is no cam timing added in that rpm range. Could have been heat soak, but more then likely it was the leaner AFR's with the Cobb OTS map. He was running the original OTS map when the AP for the 07 was first released.. As you can see, it was running about 12:1 in the baseline. I'll sacrifice 5hp for a safer tune.

Thanks,

Chris

That is why we all like going back. Most people would ignore you if you didnt know what you were talking about, or just talk to you like ur stupid if you ask questions. XXChris enjoys what he does and takes his job seriously and doesnt mind answering any questions that you may have. Good people.

Nice numbers!!

Very happy... the spool is so quick and the powermand is so smooth, along with the throttle being so much more responsive then ever before. You made the STG2 setup much much more enjoyable.

I can't wait to pick up a header, cai, and maybe a meth kit and come back, with my AP , for a retune.

Thanks again Chris.
