I've been on Discount Tire's and Victoria Tire's websites and both of them offer packages for the WRX with most wheel offsets being in the +40 range. It seems that they don't take the correct Subaru offset into consideration...which will probably create a lot of unhappy customers in the future. I suggest Tirerack; they seem to know their stuff. You may want to check out other vendors that specialize in Subarus (like Vivid).

Infantig: You are correct. That would make an unhappy customer. The correct offset is essential. Specialies vendors for Subaru is the recommended choice. Thanks for clearing this up.

I found that combo packages are a great way to go but if you want, you can always just buy the tires from Discount Tire and have them mount & balance with whichever wheels you bought for you. They did not charge me any extra when doing this.

I would prefer finding specific wheels with correct offset and then matching the tire to whatever driving style and driving conditions you have.

I think someone had posted a thread where www.edgeracing.com had some packages too.

Good luck
