Default KC questions - hot to post Datalogs - and opions.

so I took logs from my car after going with the XPT stage two - they look good to me based upon the following criteria:

1) from 2k ish to Redline-ish in 2nd 3rd and 4th the KC values are always just a bit higher than the timing advance number*the IAM value ( which is always 1 in my case).

2) they (same logs) show zero feedback knock corection - PLEASE correct me if i am mistaken, but that means that the knock sensors (1&2) didn't picl up any sonic signatures that it recognised as knock right? BTW the knock sensors values stayed zero the whole time too.

My question is what criteria does the ECU use to determine what KC value to use - what other tables is this value linked to in the grand ECU scheme? IAT? Boost target?

The other thing that leads me to believe that my car is happy with the map is that with PWGDCs that never exceed 50 it holds target boost almost rock solid (overshot .2 for roughly 800 rpm in 4th ) but it is still learning the fine correction stuff.

Anyone that is interested in checking out the datalog, please pm me on how to post the datalogs...

Also - I would really appreciate if any of the tuning guru's out there would be so kind as to let me email the .csv files to you and have you peek at them. Even if it's just to tell me i have less piston than before ... Kidding !

The map is a STG 2 XPT map and i have to say - the car feels TRANSFORMED. Like an ape that is on fire and running for it's life. Non-sensical quick. But the famous quote goes " your car never felt faster than right before it blew up huh?"

THanks to Braden, XPT, the opensource community at large, and everyone that has answered my noob idiot coffe filled questions...

KC consists of 'feedback knock correction' + 'fine learning knock correction' + 'timing advance with IAM applied'. The only criteria for the first two is knock (IAM is also based on knock). Feedback is the immediate negative correction due to knock and fine learning is learned correction due to knock applied over certain load/rpm ranges.

So, with Enginuity, you would want to log IAM (rough correction), fine learning knock correction, and feedback knock correction which will give you data pertaining to whether the amount of knock that the ecu perceives there to be. You don't need to log knock correction or timing advance necessarily.
