Windshield Chips? Paint touchup?

ok folks...i read about it a few months ago. Now that i've had my WRX for a few months I noticed yesterday while cleaning it that I have around 4-5 windshield chips due to debris off the road and stuff.

Anyone else have this problem? Also, would this be something covered under warranty? I mean, wow..that's a pretty weak windshield if it chips that easy.

Also,

I noticed a paint chip on my hood!

What do you guys use for touch-up paint?

Get the color code from the info plate in the engine compartment and go to a dealer to get a bottle of touch up paint. If you use that paint you can get "blob remover" from Langka. Windows are covered by comprehensive insurance on your policy. If something came up off the road and damaged your windshield to the point of making it unsafe, insurance will cover it. Ask you insurance agent about this. In the event the windshield cracks due to road debrie there may or may not be a deductible on you policy.
