Question oil pump, accusump install

technical question, has anyone here tapped into the oil ports at the bottom of the oil pump on a 2.0 or 2.5? I believe one is pressure and the other return. was going to hook an accusump up to them, seems the easiest place and most direct to the oil circuit. does anyone see a possible problem with doing so?

- I think you can plumb thru the pressure port and it should work OK.
altough, if the pump regains pressure, then the Accusump would be working against the flow to go thru the outlet port, albeit just for a very short run.

- The rear or front oil gallery ports on top of the block are closer to where the oil needs to be deliver. You can use a -10AN or -12AN / 18mmx1.5 adapter ( http://www.jegs.com/p/Earl%27s/758331/10002/-1 )to plumb the Accusump thru one of the ports. I'll be plumbing mine thru the rear gallery port, as that will be the 1st one to see the pressure drop.

- Also the hose routing/plumbing might be easier thru the top of the block, specially if you have a FMIC.

Rear port is the same place I am planning plumbing mine in
