I think with better shifting you could drastically reduce your time with your mods, With intake/exhaust/FMIC and ap stage 2 ots map i ran a 12.70 @109

You can definitely do a lot better than that. Get your shifting down better and keep laying down 60' times like that and you'll be under 12.5 every time.

These are very similar power numbers to mine, 279hp/330tq (WRX)

I will also be at Import wars Sept 1st in my quest for 12's. Glad to hear more fellow subies are going this time. I will be there in my triple black '06 WRX. You guys should post should post that your going in the New England dragway thread so people will get motivated to come becuase of the larger subie tunrout.

Was it an older guy driving that SRT4 with a stripped interior? Could be the same guy that spanked the hell out of me a few months ago at Import wars he ran a 12.4 and I ran a 14.03 on stage 2 OTS map

After lookign at teh video closing I can attest I too was beaten by that SRT-4. I believe he has a gutted interior with minor boltons and an upgraded 16g. Pretty cool old guy. he was giving me tips on how to launch since it was my first time

Oh, no doubt--Neon, peon.

The damn thing still flew down the track in the approx time a Testarossa or 911 turbo runs...

I don't care for 'em, but that was a quick run.

It's good sportsmanship. Glad to hear you had a positive experience your 1st time out.

Careful, the drag race becomes addictive, and you will break things.

I never drag the STi, but I have dragged my Nitrous-powered BMW ///M6
