Nice work Junior, sweet tune. Does the GT52 always spool that slow? 5K seems a little high but I don't have that much experience with this turbo.

5k is peak torque, not peak boost.

They sound nice... but you can barely tell they are there. When you start turning the RPM though they wake up big time. The "lag" is due to the cams, but they are not that bad.. Also the payoff on the top side is HUGE as you can see in the graph.

nice tune junior. I saw the very last pass you made with it, car sounded realy good. For some reason even with the perrin headers the cars still maintain that a little of that rumble, if if you go ewg all you will here is a loud rush of air anyways. The car didnt sound that lopy at idle either, good luck at the track sat "Dahellwidu".

^^^ From Element's website:

"Typically we see 20 psi by 3600-3800 rpm tuning with the Hydra with pump gas power in the 375-400 whp range. Both housings are completely ported for increased flow and wastegate performance. Race gas power is in the 475-500whp range.
Expect to achieve full boost with the proper modifications and a quality tune between 3500-4000rpms. Fuel upgrades for this turbocharger and proper engine management are required."

This is obviously a high reading dyno, and i thought dynojets read higher .. I ran close to the same e.t./trap making a good 70whp less on a dynojet, and it was almost 100 were i ran with ~40mph headwinds n ~60mph gusts.. IMO an 11.9 isnt impressive if the car put down 460whp, even if it was bad conditions.. Not saying the car is tuned poorly or anything, because i have heard good things about JR, but i expect more out of 460whp, just a very high reading dyno obviously..

the sacrifice you made on the low end isnt worth what you gained up top unless the car is primary drag racing

I felt the same way.... I don't think the car was running to the full potential.. It was going 92-93 to the 1/8 so it was definitely down on some power. When we took it out it did not feel like a 116mph car... I would have guessed it for a 120-122mph car. Going to have to look over the car and see whats up... Either way kick ass driving for MR. DAHELLWIDU, 1.66 60 ft.. and also Congrats for having one of if not the fastest Subie of the day.
