I had one when I lived in Japan. That is a 2.0l twin turbo which was never exported to the U.S.

You should post a request for a contact in Japan... you may be able to get a contact with someone in the US Military who can keep an eye open for you.

You would be better to try either New Zealand or the UK - they received the TT engined cars there.

but would that even be worth to have a twin turbo on a 4 banger wouldn't you get more power out of a single turbo on a 4 banger?

Yes - from what I understand the twin turbo was used to reduce/eliminate lag on the 2.0L turbo motor, rather than to achieve a specific power goal.

Is it Austraila that has the corner tails for the BE (BE5) that match the center taillight?

If they are readily available across the pond, why are they so pricey and rare?

And they failed, for the most part.

True enough, but their single turbos were pretty good at the time...

I've never ridden in one, but I've heard that the twin-turbo system lost quite a bit of power while transitioning from the small turbo to the large one in a WOT pull.

No twin turbos in the states, try an importer, the engine inporters in our area also stock, and can get all the parts to maintain thier cars.
