Default 2007 wrx overboost problem.. Help pls?

Hey everyone i just bought a 2007 wrx with some mods. has a greddy turbo back with 1 cat. I assume that is where i am getting my over boost from because of to much free flow air but I have no idea how to fix the problem. just in case also has a cobb cold air, a cobb waste-gate solenoid, access-port cobb tune, stage 2 clutch. I upgraded the waste-gate solenoid thinking that would help my problem, but sadly did nothing.

should i upgrade my wastegate itself to a higher pressure?? just need help I am very new turbo cars been wanting a wrx sense I was 10 and now I have this problem

thank you!

My advice would be to move this out of the General forum and into one of the technical subforums.

How is further pressurizing with the wastgate going to stop overboosting?

There's a lot of reading on this site to be searched -- if I were you, I'd have at least a quick appt. with a tuner. Over-boosted motors will blow up, sooner or later. You might be looking at sooner.

BTW, 06-07 ftw!
