Its a 427 inch Ford Motor with 13.5 to 1 compression. It should make in the neighborhood of 700whp without the bottle and WELL into the 1000hp range on the bottle.

Oh it will run again, I've always got 3 or 4 projects going. My 06 is going back together with a full-race twinscroll kit right now.

That was all through a Borla Hush, When we really get cracking on race gas numbers we will pull the exhaust off and run open downpipe.

so whats going on with this? thread is over 2 months old now and no more progress.

Every built race motor project ends up the same...a couple good runs and then they vanish. My buddies $25K+ B-series drag motor is 5 years in the making and hasn't even made it to his house yet for the first time, hell its not even broken in yet so they can swap the big turbo on and tune it on C16.

I hope your motor fares better.

If you're using a t4 housing, I assume your using at least a p-trim turbine wheel which is what I use, only mine is in a t3 turbine housing.

very good numbers, and very nice torque curve too.
Are you saying it is the GT37 compressor wheel, and the GT37 turbine wheel?

As for previous GT37s, I ran a GT37/GT37, and a GT37/GT40 a few years ago. (It was a GPMoto setup). The GT37 compressor on Tim's STI peaked out at about 596whp or so. Take a look at the compressor maps.. The GT37 won't really have the flow to push to 700whp.... at least 700whp on our Mustang dyno.

As for spoolup, I was running a twin scroll 1.1 A/R housing, and it was a bit slower then a 35R .82.

Should be an interesting build.

Apparently there about a million versions of this turbo. This one has a 67mm wheel on the compressor side and a P trim exhaust wheel I belive. I suspect that this setup will reach 700whp based on what its done so far. If it doesn't then we will just put a bigger turbo on it.

Oh and theres always the nitrous kit.
