Default Help with OMP Adjustable Strut Tower Brace. Any ideas?

So I bought this used OMP adjustable strut tower brace on ebay from some guy and he told me that it would work for a 02-07. Well when i put it on my 04 sti i couldn't close the hood all the way. So i asked him what year he had and he told me it came off his 2002 wrx. So then i go the the OMP website and i get this. http://www.ompracing.it/lista.php3 The way i read that it should fit 01-2 which doesn't make sense, so I'm guessing that it will only fit 02. I'm going to try to sell thing thing but I don't want to give someone the wrong information. Does anyone know more about omp strut tower brace or have any suggestions?

All I know is that OMP is big on eBay, and with eBay, well, you sometimes never know.

Wish I could help!

IIRC, the rest of the world got bug eyes as an 01 model car. Where as here it was 02. That should explain the year thing.

I tried to make it fit for like an hour. I even attempted to put it in my friends 03 without actually screwing it in place and it still looked like it wouldn't work. Is there any difference between 02 and 03?

There shouldn't be. I have a Ti strut bar from STi on my 05 and it fits without issue.
