Default Just got my RE-01Rs in today!!

Just got the new tires mounted this morning and thought it was a good excuse for some pictures. I've immediately noticed a better ride and less road noise over the stockers. Haven't gotten to test out the performance in the curves though but I hear it's good. Enjoy!

Ha! It's a stone dachshund lol. We have a miniature dachshund in the house, hence the stone one in the mulch lol. Funny that you noticed though.

About 15 minutes outside of Hickory, why you? Oh and btw I'm gonna take the car out right now and throw it around some. I'll be back with a mini-review.

Well after a short 10 minute romp or so, I'm still impressed. I can notice no difference in handling between these and the RE-070, and that's a very good thing. Considering that these were only around $130 a piece, and the 070s can run $175 a piece, these are a steal.

Near my house I recreated a short 50mph slalom with no noticeable tire squeal or loss of adhesion. The car was very "telepathic" and did exactly what I asked. Factor this in with the reduced road noise or "roar" of the 070s and a better ride quality and there's not much not to like here.

The only negative I see is that the tires don't look as cool as the 070s (easy to get over btw).

I can't attest to how well they perform on the track once hot, but as a daily driver these are much easier to live with.

only bad thing I have heared about these tires are the sidewalls...Ive heared they are much softer than other bridgestones like the re070s and re050's etc...

They probably are, considering how much quieter they are and how much smoother the ride feels. But considering I don't track this car, it's no big deal to me.
