Approx. 460km per tank full (I typically re-fill after the green light is on).

My best ever is 480 km with 5 liter left (55L). I usually get 450 km on highway. In town, it's more like 380-420 km.
I figured it's between 11.5L/100km Highway and 13.5 L/100 km City. Not bad at all... Go easy on that turbo... Cruise at 120km/h @ 3000 rpm on the highway, perfect!Matt |

With 50/50 hwy/city driving, I am in the range of 380-440 kms per tank...depends on how heavy the right foot is...
![]() But my absolute best was when we drove down to Niagara Falls (and gas was really expensive that weekend, so I was environmentally friendly and decided to use less gas). I was cruising in a range of 100-120 km/h...over 500 kms (I think it was something like 530)! |

I haven't managed more than 400 kms...but my WRX is still quite new (<3000km). It will improve, won't it ???
I guess when you have the HP of a 3.0L engine, it is normal for the car to drink like a 3.0L. Seems fair???? |

I know there's no turbo in my 'little' OBS but the worst I have done now is 440 km (with 7 litres left in the tank), heated seats working once in a while, letting the car warm up and somewhat aggressive shifting. On the highway, I have managed to get it to 620km with 5 litres left in the tank. That might be the upside for me not having a WRX to look at when I get up in the morning.
Cheers |

I'm imaging that you're more interested in WRX gas mileage. FYI, I usually get about 540 at the E.

I'm just past the break-in point (1602 kms) and I've getting from 380 kms to 430 kms per full tank.
I hope it will improve with time because this is really tough on the wallet ![]() |

I've been keeping track of my mileage since I bought the car (March 2000), and I get anywhere btwn 8L/100km for summer highway driving, to 13L/100km for spirited winter city driving.
Average though is approx 10.5L/100km, but I usually fill up and still have >10L in the tank... For the math impared : 8L/100km = ~560km on 45L 13L/100km = ~350km on 45L Last edited by Skeandhu; 01-10-2002 at 11:18 AM. |

About 400-450km. I know... it hurts doesn't it! With my rally lights on my car, I get about 400km. They cause a lot of wind resistance!!!!

My record before the Tec-II my record was 655 km on 57l. After the Tec-II was very carefully tuned to run quite lean on cruise with lots of advance (ie tuned for fuel efficiency) I did the exact same trip and got 690km but pumped 56l into it.

Granny driving - routinely 550kms avg on 50L
Hard driving - 300-350kms on 55L My normal driving - 470-520kms on 55L I once got 1079kms on 58L driving from Calgary to Edmonton but that was drafting less than 5 feet away from our enclosed race trailer the whole way (w/ 3 ppl in car & gear). That tank did include 2 very hard laps around race city (2ppl). I'm hoping to have HOK's kind of mileage soon. ![]() Last edited by damianq; 01-12-2002 at 11:23 AM. |

I do mostly city driving with an occasional road trip but on average I am getting 365-380 kms/tank....I guess I had better ease up on the peddle or move to the country....
