Default Help - Lightweight pulley problem

I just installed a 98 2.2 L n/a lightweight pulley onto a 91 2.2 turbo and it looks like it is touching the plastic cover.

I was told that the pulleys were competible.....anybody else ever see this problem before?

Please help with the solution

Either loosen the plastic piece and retighten it while pushing it away, or take it off.

That's just what I would do.

Trim the cover. I had to do that on my SVX to install a WRX pulley.
