Question Time to replace the RE-92's with what?

The RE-92's on the Legacy are in dire need of replacement. I was wondering what people have replaced them with?

The car is now my wife's daily driver so it isn't being driven too hard. I am looking for a good tire that will last for a while. What is the next step up from the RE-92s?

Thanks,
Eric

All-Season that is quiet, will last, and gives great performance wet or dry:

With a treadwear rating of 160, you will want to go a couple of steps up from the 92. Touchee on the 950's.

Dunlop SP5000's have my vote!! Snow, sleet, hail, freezing rain . . . never had a problem . . . and they were pretty decent at autocrosses . . . I loved them!! Now I'm running RE730s since we NEVER have winter around here anymore (damn Greenhouse Effect).

Kumho Ecsta's are a cost-effective alternative.

I just replaced my worn out RE-92's (54,000 miles) and put on the Bridgestone RE-950's 215-55-16. They have been on for a month, pretty good so far. Great looking tread pattern, good grip, better inital turn in, but a little noisy IMHO.
